Ladies and Gentleman… BOYS AND GIRLS….

MrsStanfordsClass

I was lucky enough to get paired up with Ann from The Caffeinated Classroom. Is that not a cute blog name? I know sometimes I need some coffee to make it through the day! :)

Well today I am going to share with you Ann’s packet from her TPT store titled, “Puddles of Fun”. Click the image to head to her TPT store!

puddlesFirst of all, this packet was made for her Kindergarten classroom. However, I could TOTALLY see myself using these activities for beginning of the year 1st grade. Let me tell you what it all came with before showing some cool pictures:

In the packet you get a theme of rain, raindrops, umbrellas, frogs, and more! Here’s the activities:

  • Subtraction worksheet
  • “It’s Raining, It’s Pouring” cute poem!
  • Rainy Day Doubles: Fact Families- Students match the rain cloud number sentences to the fact family numbers that are on the umbrellas. OR you can match the raindrops to the number sentences on the clouds. (I have a picture of this one!)
  • Flowering Fact Families- You match the gardener who has the fact family numbers to the wheelbarrow of number sentences that are correct. Good memory game! (I have a picture of this one!)
  • Rainy Day Words: You can write words on these umbrellas and use a flashcards.
  • A Crocodile Craftivity- After reading the story “The Puddle” by David McPhail, students make a cute crocodile and write a paragraph about how crocodiles could help them. (I am going to show you the picture she has!)
  • Frog Themed feet measuring graph
  • Main Idea Mysteries
  • A Ribbiting Haiku
  • Unscramble frog words
  • Alphabetical order

The packet also came with some raindrops so that the students can match the raindrop with their clouds.

This picture was taken from her packet. I don’t have  green construction paper that would feed through my printer. Isn’t this ADORABLE!!

I was REALLY shocked that this was a Kindergarten packet! She said it was something she would use for the end of Kindergarten. I was shocked because I don’t think the Kindergarteners at my school get to fact families. I LOVED it though! Maybe I can share this packet with my Kindergarten teacher friends ;) I DO plan on using this packet next year! Thanks!

  2. Hi Dani, I don't feel so bad. I'm usually okay when it comes to food. I'm off to finish my painting. Say a little prayer for me. If I have to paint tomorrow, I might have a breakdown.
