About Dani

Hey y'all!

I am so thankful that you have stopped by my blog! I hope you enjoy what you read and plan on coming back time to time!

My name is Danielle but only my parents call me Danielle. Everyone else calls me Dani! I have been a first grade teacher for 5 years. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2007, GO K-STATE and got my first teaching job on Fort Riley, Kansas. I was a military brat until I graduated College!

I met Chaz, my husband, a few months after graduation. We lived in Kansas until 2009. My dad finally retired from the Army and decided to settle down in Temple, Texas. I always say I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could! So Chaz and I moved to Texas where I got a first grade position in Copperas Cove, Texas! So, after 3 years of dating..... Chaz got down on one knee in my classroom after school one day! We got married June 11, 2011. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and I wish I could share many more pictures with you! Chaz is a Staff Sargent (SSG) for the Army National Guard and is a full time recruiter. I grew up as an army brat and am now an army wife!

We do not have any kids at this time. But we do have two fur babies!

This is the spoiled rotten fur baby! Her name is Fergie! Yep, Fergie like the singer. I saw an add in the newspaper for rat terriers. When I met up with the guy who was trying to sell them, he said he only had one left. When he opened the van, she was in a laundry basket shivering and smelling like pee. The guy said she was the runt and if I didn't buy her he didn't know what he was going to do with her. I handed over the $70 he asked for and took her home. I don't think she is fully a rat terrier. I think she's mixed with chihuahua. She is my little mini-me! She cuddles, protects me when I ask, and has the energy of a puppy!! Did I tell you she was spoiled? It probably won't be the last time you hear about her!
Her first summer in Texas!

At my mom's house. She hoards toys!
Maverick is my husband's dog! I call him Eeyore. Seriously, that's how he moves and the fat on his face pulls down and makes him look sad all the time. However, get out his favorite toy and he's all smiles! Him and my husband are always hanging around out side.
I love this picture of him. I feel like I should also consider the Jeep another child of ours!

Here he is looking sad.
Other than teaching I also sell Thirty-One products. Although, blogging sure takes up more of my time than my Thirty-One job! :) If you want to check out what Thirty-One is feel free to click here: mythirtyone.com/danipatterson
During my free time I enjoy reading,
spending time out on the lake with my parents,

DIY crafting or sewing,

 country music,

and taking Jeep rides with my husband!
